Vein Treatments
Overview
Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) is a progressive medical condition. It affects millions of women and men, possibly significantly altering one’s lifestyle through pain, debilitation, and unsightliness.
Early detection and treatment of CVI, the common underlying cause of leg discomfort, varicose veins, leg swelling, skin discoloration, and possibly venous ulcers, is critical. Symptoms will worsen over time, so early treatment may help you to avoid discomfort and complications. An initial consultation will provide us with a full evaluation of your diagnosis and treatment planning. An effective, non-surgical treatment option would benefit from endovenous radiofrequency thermal therapy.
We offer ClosureFast™ therapy and VenaSeal™ for the treatment of CVI. This quick, in-office procedure, will resolve discomfort quickly and effectively while restoring the appearance of your legs.
- We perform all procedures in our office
- Treatments generally take an hour
- There is a quick recovery period post-treatment
- Most insurances pay for ClosureFast™ therapy with a diagnosis of venous reflux disease
- Treatments are all generally well-tolerated, you will be comfortable
Cosmetic Sclerotherapy is also available to address non-symptomatic spider veins.
TREATMENT OPTIONS
ClosureFast™ is a procedure that uses radio frequency energy, or heat, to close the diseased vein, which redirects blood flow to healthy veins, relieving symptoms.
VenaSeal™ procedure is a newer approach to treat diseased veins by delivering a small amount of medical-grade adhesive to seal, or close, the vein, rerouting blood to nearby healthy veins, providing symptom relief.
Ambulatory phlebotomy is a minimally invasive procedure used to remove varicose veins that lie just beneath the surface of the skin.
Sclerotherapy micro-injections collapse and shrink spider veins and small varicose veins.
